- The Inquisitor can be male or female
- Choice of race makes a return, the Inquisitor being able to be either human, elvish or dwarven.
- The Inquisitor will be a voiced protagonist, with the return of an improved dialogue wheel.
- You can choose between Warrior, Mage and Rogue class again, and specializations return.
The Inquisitor- Character Details
- You aren't just a common foot soldier, you're the leader of the Inquisition.
- This is because you're left as the only survivor and witness to the events that result in the tearing of the Veil.
- You don't owe allegiance to any one group, but instead the player can choose which groups the Inquisition wants to align with.
- You have to live with the decisions you make.
The Inquisition
- The Inquisition is formed because no one group has the power or time to deal with the tear in the Veil
- You will have to overcome resistance from some groups in the game who don't respect your power, however as you gain reputation this job becomes easier.
- If you reach a fortress and they won't let you in, you can besiege it. The Inquisition will handle the foot soldiers while you deal with the battle and overall conflict.
- The Inquisition gains reputation through military action, acquisition of secrets, ancient lore, blackmail and through the Inquisitor's connections.
- Developers have said that the Inquisition has the same development over the course of the game, and emotional draw, as a full-fleshed out character.
